  8. This is an attempt to create a character editor for
  9. TSR's Dungeons and Dragons RPG. It does not do anything yet,
  10. but most of the GUI is finished (So you may see what it will
  11. look like).
  12. Main features will be:
  13.  - Support the complete D&D set of rules
  14.  - Generate NPCs
  15.  - Printing (ASCII, perhaps TeX or Postscript Output)
  16.  - It's going to be Freeware
  17.  
  18. At the moment I only have the 'Classic' edition of the Rules
  19. and Adventures Book, which unfortunately only includes Rules
  20. for Levels 1 to 5. So until I get hold of the additional
  21. rule sets, the program will be limited.

  23. The main purpose of this 'release' is to see if anyone has any
  24. comments, suggestions, etc.
